AEW CEO Tony Khan is set to make a significant announcement during the May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite concerning the debut of AEW Collision. The new show, scheduled to air on Saturdays, will have its inaugural episode on June 17 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Speculation is rife that CM Punk could make a return on the debut show, given the location of the premiere episode. However, when asked about the rumors during the Double or Nothing media scrum last weekend, Khan, the AEW president, chose not to address the question.
In addition to Khan’s announcement, Konosuke Takeshita and Don Callis will address their actions from the recent Double or Nothing pay-per-view. Takeshita, who recently turned heel, assisted the Blackpool Combat Club in their victory against The Elite in the Anarchy in the Arena match.
The upcoming Dynamite episode will also feature a tag team match between Saraya, Chris Jericho, Britt Baker, and Adam Cole. This match was confirmed during Sunday’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view, following Jericho’s challenge after his loss to Cole in an unsanctioned match.
