Bad Bunny’s Terrifying Experience: Believing His Life was in Danger After WWE Backlash

Published on

Bad Bunny, a versatile artist who skyrocketed to fame in WWE, exceeded all expectations with his incredible passion for professional wrestling. His unforgettable performance at WWE Backlash left a lasting impression, but what many didn’t know is that Bad Bunny felt a genuine sense of fear for his life after the event.

In a hard-hitting San Juan Street Fight, Bad Bunny and Damian Priest engaged in a co-main event spectacle that captivated the Puerto Rican crowd. Every move made by the rapper sent the audience into a frenzy, surpassing even the wildest expectations.

The match itself was filled with brutal weapon spots, subjecting Bad Bunny to a series of punishing bumps. In the end, Bad Bunny emerged victorious, executing a powerful destroyer move.

During a conversation with Zane Lowe on New Music Daily, Bad Bunny candidly discussed his experience in the ring with Damian Priest. The immensely popular rapper admitted that the match took a toll on his body, causing him to believe he was on the verge of death afterward.

“Woah, that was insane. It was really crazy; the people, the energy was on another level,” Bad Bunny expressed. “What happened that night, I’m never going to forget it. I remember, I said before the WrestleMania fight that day was one of my favorite moments of my life, but the Backlash fight in Puerto Rico was another level. It was really one of the biggest and best moments of my life. I really enjoyed that fight.”

However, the price of putting on a captivating performance came at a physical cost. Bad Bunny revealed, “I suffered. Yeah, I got hurt. I got hurt. My back, my whole body, bro. I felt that I was going to die after that match. I really thought that I was going to die after the match, but it’s part of it. I was prepared then, and now I’m going to drop a song. I know. I’m a crazy guy. I love it. I love it, and that’s what matters.”

This revelation aligns with the visible wounds Bad Bunny displayed after the match. In fact, his incredible dedication and performance drew comparisons to legendary artists such as Michael Jackson and Beyoncé. Fans can anticipate Bad Bunny’s return to WWE at this year’s SummerSlam, eagerly awaiting how the company will incorporate him into future storylines.
