PlayStation has made two big changes to the free PS Plus games it’s offering this month. One game has been added back to the lineup, while another game is now only available to subscribers in Japan/Asia.
The game that has been added back is Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. This game was originally announced for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium but was removed from the lineup without explanation. However, it has now been added back to the lineup, and subscribers will be able to download it for free starting on May 16.
The game that is now only available in Japan/Asia is Soundfall. This game was originally announced for all regions, but PlayStation has now said that it is only available in Japan/Asia. There is no explanation for this decision, but it is possible that Soundfall is not available in other regions due to licensing issues.
These are the two big changes that PlayStation has made to May’s free PS Plus games. As always, subscribers can download all the games for free if they have an active subscription to PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium. Once a game leaves the subscription service, subscribers will need to purchase it outright if they want to continue playing it.
