Eric Bischoff, a WWE Hall of Famer and a veteran of the pro wrestling industry, is known for his wealth of knowledge in the business. He played a significant role during the Monday Night Wars between WWE and WCW. However, during last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Bischoff almost turned down the opportunity to appear on the show.
The WWE legend made an appearance during Night Two of the WWE Draft to present one of the Draft picks. Fans were thrilled to see Bischoff back on WWE television as it had been some time since his last appearance.
However, during a recent episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff revealed that he was initially asked to appear during the draft over a month ago but didn’t hear back from the company for some time. A few days before RAW, he received a call asking him to appear, but he almost turned it down before realizing it was a great opportunity.
“I almost said no, but I thought, ‘Well, it’s such a great opportunity, and I do want to see some people,’ whatever. So, I ended up doing it, but it came about relatively quickly,” Bischoff said on his podcast.
Despite the initial uncertainty, Bischoff is glad he decided to accept the offer to appear on RAW. His contribution to the show was well-received by fans, and his appearance added to the excitement of the WWE Draft.
