During a recent round of television tapings in Chicago, Impact Wrestling had some interesting visitors backstage, including a current WWE Superstar.
While WWE Superstars are permitted to attend other pro wrestling events, they cannot be seen on television due to contractual limitations. PW Insider reported that Tamina Snuka was backstage at the Impact Wrestling television taping event, supporting Trinity Fatu for her first official post-WWE match.
According to the report, Tamina Snuka was not the only notable figure in attendance. Mercedes Mone also supported Trinity Fatu and even watched her friend’s debut from the crowd.
Additionally, CM Punk was backstage at the event and welcomed by the talent. Some wrestlers even expressed how much the Second City Savior inspires them.
It remains to be seen what Impact Wrestling has in store to maintain their viewers’ attention. Nonetheless, the recent television taping event was exciting for both the wrestlers and their supporters.
