Rob Van Dam is undoubtedly one of the greatest in-ring performers to have graced the world of professional wrestling. With a career spanning ECW, Impact Wrestling, WWE, Pro Wrestling Noah, and various other promotions, the veteran wrestler has garnered a massive following. Now, fans are eager to see him make a move to AEW, and it appears that RVD himself is keen on the idea.
RVD made a name for himself in ECW before signing with WWE in 2001, where he spent six successful years as an active wrestler, winning multiple championships including the WWE and ECW Championships. Despite leaving WWE in 2007 and making a brief return in 2013, he continues to compete actively.
Recently, a fan took to Twitter to request AEW President Tony Khan to sign RVD so that he can have a solid run in the promotion. Interestingly, RVD liked the tweet, indicating his interest in working with Tony Khan. The tweet read, “Balls in your court @TonyKhan 🥹.”
RVD also had an interesting response when asked about his potential for one final wrestling run. While there is no official word on whether RVD will be joining AEW, fans remain hopeful that the wrestling legend will grace their screens soon.
