Solo Sikoa has been on a tear since his debut in 2021. With a once impressive undefeated streak and some solid matches under his belt, he’s quickly become a top heel. This week’s WWE Draft saw him stay on SmackDown, where he wasted no time in making his presence felt.
SmackDown’s first night of the Draft was in full swing at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. As Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defended their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against The Usos, Solo Sikoa made an unexpected interference. Fortunately for the Usos, Matt Riddle came out to even the odds and the two brawled their way to the back, causing The Usos to lose the match.
But the action didn’t stop there. After the show went off-air, Solo Sikoa and Matt Riddle continued their feud in a dark match. This time, Sikoa came out on top with a decisive victory, hitting Riddle with his signature Samoan Spike.
WWE’s emphasis on Solo Sikoa’s dominance suggests that the company has big plans for the rising star. Fans will have to tune in to see what’s next for the Samoan powerhouse.
