As WWE prepares for its upcoming Draft, the landscape of the company could undergo some major changes. While some tag teams and stables could be disbanded, the Draft also offers the possibility of new Superstars being introduced to the WWE universe.
As Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall, there are a number of NXT wrestlers rumored to be in line for a promotion to the main roster. Among those rumored to make the jump are Pretty Deadly, who had an impressive showing at Spring Breakin’, leaving fans eagerly anticipating their main roster debut.
According to Sapp, Ilja Dragunov and Tyler Bate have also been mentioned as potential call-ups, with WRKD Wrestling reporting Bate’s name in the mix as well.
In addition to these names, it has been reported that Cameron Grimes is awaiting the right creative to make his transition from NXT to the main roster. In fact, some have speculated that his call-up may have already occurred in secret.
Although NXT Superstars are still under NXT contracts until larger main roster deals are offered, several of them will likely be given the opportunity to shine on WWE’s biggest stages. With fresh faces potentially joining the mix, this year’s WWE Draft could shape up to be a game-changer for the company.
