The WWE Draft is always exciting for fans, as they eagerly anticipate which superstars will switch brands. One name that has been confirmed for the event is Teddy Long.
Long’s presence at the 2023 WWE Draft has sparked speculation about his role in the proceedings. According to reports, Long may be serving as the MC for the event, a role previously filled by Stephanie McMahon, who is no longer with WWE.
Long is scheduled to appear on both nights of the draft, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that his role could be crucial. McMahon had been in the MC position for the past few drafts, but with her departure from WWE, Long may have been chosen to fill the void.
McMahon had taken a leave of absence from WWE prior to her father’s brief retirement, and upon her return, she assumed the co-CEO role alongside Nick Khan. However, with Vince McMahon back in charge, Stephanie McMahon’s tenure with WWE has come to an end.
As for Long, fans can only wait and see which names he will call during the 2023 WWE Draft. It remains to be seen whether his appearance at the event could lead to a longer run for the WWE Hall of Famer.
