In the world of WWE, tag teams are an essential part of the action, and few have connected with fans quite like Edge and Christian. The dynamic duo achieved great success during their time with the company, winning multiple titles both individually and as a team. They even went on to host their own unique variety show on the WWE Network, breaking down barriers and redefining what a pro wrestling television show could be.
Despite the fact that Edge is currently with WWE and Christian Cage has joined the ranks of AEW as a heel, the two former tag team champions were recently spotted enjoying an NFL playoff game together. Fans were thrilled to see the two longtime friends and collaborators standing side by side once again, as Edge tweeted out a photo of the pair with the caption “Buds vs Bolts. E to the C.”
Unfortunately, the possibility of an on-screen reunion seems unlikely due to the fact that both wrestlers are nearing the end of their careers and are locked into deals with their respective companies. With AEW and WWE refusing to share talent or collaborate, it may be some time before fans get to see Edge and Christian team up again.
But at least they were able to come together for a hockey game, a sport they both share a passion for outside of the wrestling ring. For fans of Edge and Christian, the bond between these two legendary wrestlers remains unbreakable.
