Liv Morgan has quickly become a fan favorite in WWE, thanks to her hard work and dedication to her craft. The wrestler recently spoke about her pinning of Trish Stratus on a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, just moments before the WWE Hall of Famer’s shocking heel turn.
Speaking on The Bump, Morgan revealed that she has always looked up to Stratus and found it an absolute honor to pin her in the match. However, Morgan also admitted that she felt awkward about the timing of the pin, given the heel turn that followed.
While Morgan praised Stratus for her love of the spotlight, she expressed sympathy for Becky Lynch, who was on the receiving end of the attack. “I’m not mad at her for it. I just feel for Becky,” Morgan said.
Morgan also revealed that she had begged her tag team partner, Raquel Rodriguez, not to betray her after winning the titles. It remains to be seen how WWE will book the reign of Morgan and Rodriguez as tag team champions in the coming weeks.
Despite her mixed emotions about the pin, Morgan’s admiration for Stratus remains unwavering. The pin will undoubtedly remain a highlight of her career, and fans can expect to see more great things from the young wrestler in the future.
