AEW’s Matt Jackson is on the road to recovery after sustaining a torn bicep injury during his last match on television. Although the injury was not part of the plan, Jackson is making a solid comeback and the injury is healing nicely.
Jackson’s fellow AEW stars, The Young Bucks, also found themselves writing an injury angle for Nick Jackson. However, they didn’t take much time off television and were back in action shortly after.
During a recent “Being the Elite episode,” Matt Jackson updated fans on his progress, revealing that he is undergoing “shockwave therapy” to help his arm heal. He added that he felt much better and even thought he could get back in the ring.
However, it remains to be seen how long Jackson will be out of action. He did make a comeback on AEW Dynamite last week, but he may not be completely out of the woods yet. Fortunately, he did not require surgery to repair his arm.
Meanwhile, rumors are circulating about The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega possibly working with CM Punk in the future. While Punk has reportedly expressed interest in working with The Elite, whether they are willing to collaborate with the Second City Savior remains to be seen.
