Jordynne Grace has been a trailblazer in the world of professional wrestling, and her recent growth in the sport has been nothing short of remarkable. However, her status following Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion pay-per-view event is now in question.
Grace competed against Deonna Purrazzo for the Impact Knockouts Championship at Rebellion but was defeated by Purrazzo, who became a three-time champion. According to Sean Ross Sapp, a journalist for Fightful, Grace is now a free agent. Her contract with Impact was set to expire in March, but she was able to negotiate a raise over the originally agreed terms.
While Impact Wrestling would have liked to retain the 27-year-old star, there needs to be an insight into how or if her success outside of wrestling will weigh into her decision. Grace has reportedly become a millionaire through her exclusive content site.
It remains unclear whether Grace has signed a new contract with Impact Wrestling, but she previously signed a two-year extension with the promotion in 2021. As a result, it’s still being determined whether she will decide to re-sign with the company in the end. The future of this emerging talent in the world of professional wrestling remains uncertain and fans will be eagerly anticipating what lies ahead.
