The latest episode of WWE Smackdown saw a dip in ratings and viewership, returning to pre-WrestleMania levels. The Friday night showdown drew in 2.265 million viewers, a decrease of 8.2% from the previous week, while the 18-49 demographic rating dropped 15.9% to 0.58.
Although the figures were down from the previous weeks’ ratings of 0.69, which were fueled by the excitement of WrestleMania, it was still able to top the night among broadcast shows, according to Showbuzz Daily. The program came in third overall for the night, behind two NBA Playoffs play-in games on ESPN and TNT.
Despite a recent decline, Smackdown has been performing well in 2023, with an average demo rating of 0.607 and 2.359 million viewers, up from last year’s figures. Fans are eagerly waiting for the next episode to see if the show can bounce back and regain its WrestleMania momentum.
