SmackDown to Kick Off 2023 WWE Draft in Two Weeks

Published on

The WWE Draft for 2023 is set to take place on April 28 during SmackDown and will continue through the May 1 edition of Raw. WWE fans have been eagerly anticipating the draft after it was not held last year.

Triple H previously announced that “every WWE Superstar” would be eligible for the draft, promising that it would “change the game.” These vague statements have left fans speculating who will change brands this year.

The most recent draft, held in the fall of 2021, saw several high-profile moves. Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre, The New Day, and Jeff Hardy all moved to SmackDown, while Bianca Belair, Edge, and Rey & Dominik Mysterio headed to Raw. Additionally, Hit Row, Aliyah, and Austin Theory were called up from NXT.

With the upcoming draft just around the corner, fans can expect even more exciting changes to the WWE landscape.
