Jeff Hardy Returns to Television on This Week’s AEW Dynamite

Published on

Jeff Hardy has been absent from AEW for quite some time, leading to rumors of a potential return. Recently, he was spotted backstage, leading to further speculation, and it turns out that he did make his long-awaited return on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.

During the show, Ethan Page expressed his displeasure, and Big Bill and Lee Moriarty ran in to attack Matt Hardy and Private Party. Hook made an appearance, but it was Jeff Hardy’s surprise entrance with a chair that turned the tide and ran off the heels. Jeff performed a Swanton Bomb on Lee Moriarty, much to the delight of the crowd, and shared a touching moment with his brother Matt.

It’s worth noting that Jeff Hardy recently underwent eye surgery and appeared to be in great shape during his return. His DUI case from 2022 was closed in February, and it seems that Tony Khan found a way to get him back into the mix. While it remains to be seen how Jeff Hardy will factor into AEW’s future plans, his return to television is a welcome sight for wrestling fans.
