Former WWE superstar Mercedes Mone, who now plies her trade in NJPW, has made a bold promise to her fans. Mone, who is known to be Snoop Dogg’s cousin, has vowed to bring the legendary rapper to the Tokyo Dome if she ever headlines a main event in the future.
The duo’s relationship has been well-documented in the wrestling world, with Snoop Dogg being a WWE Hall of Famer and a regular collaborator with Mone. In fact, he even inspired her popular “Legit Boss” character.
After defeating KAIRI in February, Mone recently won the IWGP Women’s Championship and has since defended her title multiple times, quickly becoming a fan favorite.
Speaking to Tokyo Sports, the IWGP Women’s Champion expressed her commitment to her future in Japan, stating that if she headlines a main event in the Tokyo Dome, Snoop Dogg will undoubtedly be present to cheer her on. She even dreams of having her cousin sing for her entrance, making her wish a reality.
It’s worth noting that Snoop Dogg already performed during Mercedes Mone’s entrance at WrestleMania 32 in 2016. Nevertheless, whether he’ll accompany his cousin at the Tokyo Dome remains to be seen, but fans will undoubtedly be excited by the prospect.
