FTR Claims AEW World Tag Team Championship on AEW Dynamite

Published on

This week’s AEW Dynamite took place in Long Island, where the main event featured a unique stipulation that would have severe consequences for the losing team. If FTR was unable to defeat the Gunns and take the titles, they would be out of the company.

The Gunns made their entrance to a new song, “Many Men” by 50 Cent, which seemed to hype them up before the match. However, FTR received a much bigger pop from the crowd, and they could have done better to get down to business.

Both teams were determined to win, and the match was closely contested. The Gunns attempted to secure the victory using some sneaky tactics, but Dax Harwood managed to avoid the three-count after being hit with a belt behind the referee’s back.

Ultimately, FTR emerged victorious in a creative manner, rolling up both of Billy Gunn’s sons simultaneously, resulting in the referee counting both of their shoulders on the mat for the three-count.

With this victory, FTR are now the AEW World Tag Team Champions again and will stay with the company. Mark Briscoe even joined the Top Guys in the ring to celebrate their triumph.

The lively crowd in Long Island made for an exciting atmosphere, and this match was certainly a highlight of the night.
