Becky Lynch aims to create history again by defending her WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 39. The former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion is scheduled to compete in a six-woman tag team match on the event’s first night, teaming up with Lita and Trish Stratus. However, Becky hasn’t given up hope of pulling double duty and defending her tag team titles with Lita on the second night of WrestleMania 39.
During a recent appearance on the Tommy Tiernan show, Lynch expressed her desire to defend the titles on the second night, saying, “I’m going in on the first night in a Six-Woman match, and then because I’m tag team Champion, I’m hoping that I will be defending that title on the second night. So, ‘Becky Two-Fights,’ they’ll call me. I don’t know. They might. We’ll try to get that on a t-shirt or something.”
Becky’s WrestleMania opponent Bayley posted a cryptic tweet last week that worried her fans. The Role Model shared a picture of herself with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title belt and wrote, “I’m sorry.” WWE had initially planned for Becky and Lita to defend their titles against Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 39. However, Ronda’s injury forced the company to change its plans and put her in a “Women’s WrestleMania Showcase Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match.”
