Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, formerly known as The Revival in WWE and now as FTR in AEW were quickly established as one of the top tag teams in the company, winning the NXT Tag Team Championships during their time there.
However, their main roster call-up in WWE did not go as planned, and they needed to be given significant opportunities to showcase their talents. Meanwhile, The Young Bucks continued to take jabs at them through their ‘Being The Elite’ series, using the phrase “f**k The Revival” which ultimately inspired their name in AEW.
In a recent interview with Fightful Select, Dax Harwood revealed that The Young Bucks never spoke to them about the ‘f**k The Revival’ skits, which initially upset them. However, they soon realized that the skits were gaining their attention and generating a reaction from the audience.
FTR departed WWE in 2020 and joined AEW, where they have continued to thrive as one of the best tag teams in the world. They have won numerous championships in AEW and IWGP and ROH Tag Team Championships, solidifying their position as one of the most successful tag teams in recent history.
