WWE has witnessed many great tag teams throughout its history, but none more historic than Team DIY, comprised of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa during their time in NXT. Despite never reaching the same heights on the main roster, rumors of a reunion have been circulating among fans.
Since Triple H took over WWE creative, he has shown a willingness to use Tommaso Ciampa on the main roster and has also brought Johnny Gargano back to the company. Although Ciampa is out of action due to injury, he is on the road to recovery, and Gargano competes regularly.
During a recent interview with Catch Club, Johnny Gargano was asked about the possibility of teaming up with Tommaso Ciampa once again. Gargano responded that a reunion is indeed possible, as long as they are on the same roster.
Gargano went on to express excitement about the potential of DIY being on both RAW and SmackDown and the dream matches that could arise from such a scenario. He believes that there is still so much potential to explore in the partnership.
As a sports writer, I can’t help but feel the excitement among WWE fans at the prospect of a Team DIY reunion. Gargano and Ciampa have a unique chemistry and history together, and it would be a treat to see them back in the ring as a team.
