General Mills’ Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and their iconic Cinnamojis are set to be a part of WrestleMania 39. In a joint statement with WWE, the cereal’s mascots will perform live at the event alongside WWE Superstars, though no further details have yet been announced.
In addition, Walmart.com will have a limited number of Cinnamoji Toast Crunch Rey Mysterio WrestleMania 39-branded cereal boxes available this month.
The announcement was accompanied by a promotional commercial featuring Kofi Kingston introducing the Cinnamojis to his New Day teammates, with Xavier Woods appearing slightly concerned about Kofi’s new cereal friends.
Mindy Murray, Senior Marketing Communications Manager for General Mills, said, “WWE is at the epicenter of sports entertainment, and we are thrilled to bring Cinnamojis’ antics to their passionate fanbase.” WWE’s Head of Global Sales and Partnerships, Craig Stimmel, added that the company was excited to welcome Cinnamon Toast Crunch as a first-time WrestleMania sponsor.
Stimmel also hinted at the possibility of a sponsor-branded match at WrestleMania, similar to the Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter last month, Stimmel teased, “We’re going to do things that fit inside of our storyline as well.” Fans will have to wait and see what surprises the event will have.
