AEW wrestler Danhausen suffered a significant setback during AEW Revolution when he tore his right pectoral muscle. The popular wrestler announced the news via his Twitter handle, although he did not disclose any details about the severity of the injury or how long he would be out of action.
Danhausen was part of a tag team match at AEW Revolution, teaming up with Orange Cassidy to take on The Gunns, Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal, and The Acclaimed. Unfortunately, the wrestler sustained the injury during the 3:10 to Yuma spot, which ended the match.
This is not the first time Danhausen has had to overcome an injury. In October 2021, he suffered a broken tibia and fibula during an indie match, which required surgery and the insertion of a rod in his leg. However, he appeared surprisedly on AEW Dynamite in January 2022 during a lights-out match between Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy. Later that night, it was announced that he had signed a contract with AEW, despite still recovering from his injury.
Danhausen made his in-ring debut for the company in May 2022 against Tony Nese and has since wrestled exclusively for AEW. The extent of his latest injury remains unknown, but fans will undoubtedly hope for a speedy recovery and a quick return to the ring.
