Gaming enthusiasts can now rejoice as Take-Two Interactive’s 2K division has announced the release of the latest addition to the WWE game franchise, WWE 2K23, developed by Visual Concepts.
The game boasts four editions, namely standard, cross-gen, deluxe, and icon, with the latter versions already available for purchase. The standard and cross-gen editions will be available from March 17th, with pre-orders commencing on March 14th.
WWE 2K23 promises to deliver enhanced game modes and improved visuals, with different images of John Cena, the iconic WWE superstar, and 16-time world champion, adorning the covers of all editions. Additionally, the much-anticipated WarGames mode makes its debut, promising to offer players an action-packed experience.
The game also features music artist Bad Bunny in its bonus pack, including a playable character. The bonus pack includes deluxe and icon editions, while pre-order bonus offers are available for standard and cross-gen edition buyers.
WWE 2K23 further strengthens Take-Two’s gaming portfolio, which includes other popular franchises like Grand Theft Auto (GTA), NBA 2K, Red Dead Redemption, and Borderlands. The company’s recent acquisition of Zynga has expanded its mobile game footprint, with 20 mobile games in the pipeline, including a mobile version of the top-rated franchise, GTA. The mobile version of GTA: The Definitive Edition is set to be released later this month.
