The latest buzz in the wrestling world is that Keiji Muto, better known as The Great Muta, is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2023.
According to reports, wrestling legend Ric Flair will reveal the next inductee on Wednesday’s episode of WWE’s The Bump, and it’s believed that he will be the one to induct Muta into the Hall of Fame.
Muta recently completed a retirement tour that included a match against WWE star Shinsuke Nakamura for Pro Wrestling NOAH. It was an emotional farewell for the Japanese superstar, who has been a mainstay in the industry for several decades.
Although PWInsider was the first to report that Muta would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, there are murmurs that former WWE diva Stacy Keibler could also be in the running. At this time, nothing has been officially confirmed, and fans will have to wait patiently for further updates.
The induction ceremony is set to take place in Los Angeles after SmackDown on Friday, March 31, and fans can watch it live on Peacock/WWE Network. So far, the only confirmed inductee for the class of 2023 is Rey Mysterio, who Konnan will induct. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting event!
