As the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony approaches, rumors have been circulating about the next inductee to be added to the prestigious list of honorees. While Rey Mysterio has already been confirmed, there’s now speculation about a potential female inductee.
According to a report by PW Insider, negotiations have been ongoing for several weeks with Stacy Keibler, with WWE being “very close” to finalizing a deal to announce her as the female member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023. However, it should be noted that while the deal is highly likely, it has yet to be officially completed as of last Friday.
Keibler, who began her career in WCW in 1999 before moving to WWE in 2001, has yet to compete in professional wrestling since 2006, except for occasional convention appearances and a guest spot on WWE Tough Enough in 2011. Her most recent appearance for WWE was in 2019 when she inducted Torrie Wilson into the Hall of Fame.
While we await an official announcement from WWE, fans can only hope that Keibler will be added to this year’s ceremony’s illustrious list of inductees.
