WWE NXT star Sarray, formerly known as Sareee, has reportedly left the company as her contract has expired. While WWE has yet to make an official statement, Fightful Select has confirmed that Sarray has already taken bookings elsewhere, indicating that her time with the company is effectively over.
According to a new report, Sarray’s departure from WWE began when many of her biggest supporters in NXT were released early in 2022. Her situation worsened after William Regal’s exit, as she was no longer consistently factored into creative decisions. Reports indicate that Sarray was absent from the WWE Performance Center for a long time, and when colleagues inquired about her, they received no answers. Additionally, most in the company agree that the creativity given to her was subpar.
Despite these issues, Sarray took pride in her short feud with Tiffany Stratton, which helped establish Stratton in NXT. Sources say that Sarray had high opinions of the rising talent in the company and that there were no issues with her interactions with others at the Performance Center, despite the language barrier. Overall, Sarray’s time in WWE has been plagued by creative missteps and a lack of direction, leading to her eventual departure.
