Ronda Rousey has returned to WWE programming, and fans are eager to see what she has in store. After losing her SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair in under a minute, Rousey took a break from the ring, but now she’s back and not alone.
Rousey returned to SmackDown on February 10, teaming up with fellow UFC alum Shayna Baszler to attack Natalya and Shotzi. Since then, rumors have swelled about Rousey’s next move, and now we may have some answers.
Despite there being no official announcement from WWE, it appears that Ronda Rousey’s return to the ring is imminent. Both the WWE Events website and the Van Del Arena website have included Ronda Rousey in the roster for Monday Night RAW, scheduled to take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While Baszler is not currently listed, fans hope she will be there to support Rousey.
There have been widespread rumors that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler may face off against Dakota Kai and IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. However, before that potential match can take place, Kai and SKY must first defend their titles against Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Lita on the upcoming February 27th episode of RAW.
It’s an exciting time to be a WWE fan, and with Rousey back in the mix, the stakes are higher than ever. Will she and Baszler be able to take down the reigning tag team champions at WrestleMania? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: Rousey is back and ready to reclaim her place in the ring.
