Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite pulled in an average of 1.028 million viewers on TBS, a significant increase of 24.8 percent from last week. This marks the largest audience for the show since October 5, 2022.
It’s important to note that this was the first-week Dynamite wasn’t competing with NBA games since the start of the current season.
Regarding the highly-coveted 18-49 demo, Dynamite was the top-rated show on cable with a 0.35 rating, a surge of 29.6 percent from last week. This matches Dynamite’s best rating in the key demo since September 14, 2022.
Interestingly, Dynamite’s ratings increased in every demo except for women aged 18-49, which remained even with last week’s numbers. The most significant increase was seen in males aged 12-34, up a staggering 52.4 percent. With a 0.32 rating, this was Dynamite’s highest in that category since April 20, 2022, and the second highest since November 2019.
Compared to the same week in 2022, Dynamite’s overall viewership was up by 1.8 percent, while 18-49 viewership was down 12.5 percent. It’s important to note that there was no NBA competition during last year’s week due to the All-Star break.
