Bryan Danielson entered the arena to thunderous applause and expressed his delight at being back in Phoenix. However, his speech was abruptly cut short by the arrival of MJF, who had placed a bounty on his head and hospitalized Danielson’s mentor William Regal. MJF spoke about his difficulties with love and his desire for a family but emphasized that the only thing that made him feel loved was the AEW World Championship.
In response, the crowd chanted, “You Deserve It,” but MJF continued berating Danielson, claiming that he valued wrestling more than his family. MJF accused Danielson of spitting in his face and causing Regal’s hospitalization, promising to punish him for everything he had taken for granted. MJF even targeted Danielson’s children, sending a message to Birdie.
Danielson struck MJF with his microphone as tensions mounted, prompting security to rush into the ring and separate the two wrestlers. Despite their efforts, both men broke free, leading to a chaotic scene involving referees and agents. Danielson managed to land a clean shot on MJF before the segment came to an explosive end.
