WWE on A&E ratings up for Biography, Rivals

The latest episode of Biography: WWE Legends, which focused on the nWo, premiered on Sunday night and drew in an impressive 495,000 viewers on A&E. This marked a 28.6% increase from the previous season’s final episode and was the best viewership for the show since August 14th of last year. Compared to the previous season’s episodes, the nWo Biography would have held the fifth position out of nine.

Although the nWo Biography aired simultaneously with the NBA All-Star Game, it managed to secure the 25th position on the cable charts, garnering a rating of 0.15 in the 18-49 demographic. This rating is more than twice the rating of last year’s season finale and is equal to the highest rating achieved by the show since August 7th. In the previous season, Biography had an average of 496,000 viewers and a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demo.

In the following Biography, A&E aired WWE Rivals, which focused on the feud between Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. The show attracted an audience of 444,000 viewers, the second-highest audience total in the series’ history. Regarding ratings, with a rating of 0.14 in the 18-49 demographic, Rivals attained the 27th position on the cable charts., which is the third-highest number in the show’s history and nearly tripled the rating of last season’s finale. In the first season, Rivals had an average of 370,000 viewers and a 0.11 in the 18-49 demo.
