However, during tonight’s show, the Lioness of NXT made an appearance, albeit on crutches. In a backstage interview with McKenzie Mitchell, Lyons revealed that her surgery had gone well but that she would be out of action for the next 11 months. She also recounted the attack, stating that she had no idea who had attacked her in the parking lot. During the interview, Tiffany Stratton interrupted and criticized McKenzie for interviewing Nikkita.

For those who are curious, Nikkita Lyons was unable to compete due to an ACL tear. To remove her from NXT television, Shawn Michaels and his team devised the parking lot angle.
