Jay White, one of the most gifted professional wrestlers in the world, has made a name for himself in New Japan Pro Wrestling. As the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, he established himself as a formidable force in the industry. However, he was defeated in a recent “Loser Leaves Japan” match against Hikuleo, leaving fans to speculate about his next move. Some wondered if he would join AEW or WWE, but with his subsequent loss to Eddie Kingston at NJPW Battle In The Valley, and it was clear that his time in NJPW had ended. Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer suggested that WWE is the frontrunner to sign the Bullet Club leader.
Nobody in WWE has confirmed Jay White coming in, but they are certainly the favorite. One would think if White was going to AEW, he’d be able to work big shows with New Japan and would continue to do so, but they wouldn’t do the loser leaves for good stipulation.”
Following the conclusion of his stint in NJPW, Jay White is reportedly seeking a return to the United States. It remains to be seen if he will sign with WWE in the future, and fans will have to wait for further developments.
