This week’s edition of WWE SmackDown will be held at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada, and will serve as the final show before WWE Elimination Chamber. Despite the focus on the upcoming premium live event, WWE has revealed a significant women’s tag team match that will take place on the show.
Several weeks ago, Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey inflicted severe injuries on Natalya, causing her to undergo reconstructive surgery on her nose and stay away from television for a while. However, Natalya returned during the 2023 Royal Rumble match and is now seeking retribution against Shayna Baszler.
On the most recent episode of SmackDown, Natalya referred to Shayna as a “cheap knockoff version of Ronda Rousey” and challenged her to a match. Shayna appeared and teamed up with Ronda to attack Natalya, but Shotzi, who has also had issues with Shayna and Ronda, came to Natalya’s defense.
WWE has confirmed that Natalya and Shotzi will team up to face Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler in a tag team match on this week’s SmackDown.
