As WWE heads towards WrestleMania, Sami Zayn is poised for a huge title match against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Title at Elimination Chamber. However, the match’s outcome may still be subject to change.
Dave Meltzer discussed on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE had kept their WrestleMania plans the same, which Ringside News previously reported on January 14th. Despite Sami Zayn’s immense popularity and fans’ attempts to convey their enthusiasm through ratings, Meltzer suggested that WWE modify its event plans. However, unlike the previous year, WWE has not changed its WrestleMania lineup.
“They have not been changing. Almost everything I have heard, in fact, everything I have heard, there have been changes from months back, but I would say that a month back everything happened exactly the same, unlike every year before WrestleMania, everything was changed in some way, not big changes, but there was tweaked stuff. Now, there hasn’t been, so they should not beat Sami Zayn. If you’re following the ratings, the ratings tell you.”
Although WWE has not modified any WrestleMania plans, it may be wise to consider doing so for Sami Zayn, given his immense popularity with the WWE Universe, as confirmed by the ratings. It remains to be seen what WWE’s decision will be at Elimination Chamber.
Goosebumps and chills right now after THAT moment on #WWERaw!@CodyRhodes believes in @SamiZayn ahead of #WWEChamber. And THAT is undeniable. pic.twitter.com/heBsXblh2A
