While speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday, The Rock informed that his mother Ata Johnson is “doing good” after the car crash.
The Rock informed the outlet that he was alerted about his mother’s accident through a phone call received in the middle of the night.
“It was 3 a.m. when I got that phone call,” the Black Adam star said. “You know when my phone rings at 3 a.m. and it’s a family member, it’s not good.”
Ata Johnson was born in Samoa, a South Pacific island nation, and grew up in a traditional Samoan family. She married Rocky Johnson, a professional wrestler, and they had two children together, one of whom is Dwayne. We are relieved to hear that she is doing well and that is what matters most.
