Mandy Rose’s time with WWE ended following her 413-day reign as the “WWE NXT” Women’s Champion. Mandy Rose’s release from WWE was due to the adult content she posted on her FanTime subscription page, which earned her $500,000 in the week following her departure from the company. Despite her financial success, Rose’s departure from WWE marks the end of her seven-year run as a regular on WWE television and her exit from the wrestling industry.
During her appearance on “The Sessions with Renee Paquette,” Mandy Rose was asked about a potential return to wrestling, specifically if she’d consider joining AEW. Rose has a history with some AEW talents, having teamed up with Dustin Rhodes in WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge and being part of the Absolution faction with Saraya. While she expressed it would be “nice” to reunite with her old teammates, Rose has not decided if she will return to the wrestling business.
“I haven’t ruled it out for sure, it’s not like the boots are hung up and stuff,” Rose said. “It’s just right now, it’s not my main focus but definitely for the future, maybe.”
After Mandy Rose was let go by WWE, the “NXT” Women’s Championship was quickly handed over to Roxanne Perez, even though a long rivalry was originally in the works. At Vengeance Day, Perez successfully defended her title against Rose’s former tag team partners, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne, which prompted Rose to express her pride for their showing in the ring.
