Ric Flair has reportedly apologized to Becky Lynch and resolved any issues with WWE that had existed in recent years.
In an episode of his podcast released on Wednesday, Ric Flair discussed his appearance on Raw 30 and his talks backstage with Becky Lynch and Triple H.
I felt like I was respected, I felt like I was wanted, I felt like I was part of it again and I walked away a better man, with a better understanding of who I am as a person and what the business is about.
It started out with me and Hunter talking for about an hour, which was a private discussion about resolving a lot of issues that had been lingering for a couple years.

Flair stated that he no longer resents Lynch for using the “The Man” moniker. He had previously sold the trademark to WWE in 2021 but had had several public exchanges with Lynch about it in the following years.
Flair continued:
The Man trademark, the whole thing was decided by someone besides she and I. So, if they need to go to war over it… It’s not that as much as it was the money that was involved in it, which the company reached the better part of, anyway. And then I saw her with her child and I thought, ‘God, this will be Ashley some day.’
It’s not worth it. I’m not The Man anymore. The Man is whoever the people think is and basically we’ve turned it over to social media to decide who The Man is. Does that make sense? It could be Tom Brady, who is still playing. It could be Aaron Rodgers in football. It could be LeBron, who I still think is the man in basketball, he had 46 last night.
I will be, in some people’s mind, The Man forever but you gotta remember I’m sitting there with Taker and Shawn, and I’m 20 years older than those guys and I’m there on Raw, lucky enough to celebrate that moment and that time with these guys that grew up on me and then introduce my daughter and call her what she is, the greatest woman’s champion in the history of WWE.
Flair was let go by WWE on August 3, 2021, and then made an appearance at the NWA 73rd anniversary show later that month. The following year, on July 31, 2022, Flair wrestled in what was promoted as his final match in Nashville. He teamed up with Andrade El Idolo, his son-in-law, to defeat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett.
