“WWE NXT” retained its overall viewership on Tuesday but saw a decline in its key demographic.
According to Wrestlenomics, the Tuesday episode of “WWE NXT” had an average viewership of 607,000, a 1% increase from the previous week. However, the key demographic of 18-49 year old viewers saw a decline, with 162,000 tuning in, resulting in a 0.12 P18-49 rating, a decrease of 13% from the previous week’s 186,000 viewers.
Compared to last year’s period, “WWE NXT” has seen a similar trend. The total audience for the January 25, 2022 episode was 593,000, a 3% decrease from this past Tuesday’s episode. The key demographic of 18-49 year old viewers also saw a drop, with a 0.14 P18-49 rating, a 15% decrease from the episode in the same period last year.
The episode of “WWE NXT” that aired last night began with Tiffany Stratton defeating Indi Hartwell but also featured the ongoing feud between Bron Breakker and Grayson Waller. Waller confronted the “NXT” Champion and sent him crashing into the ringside barricade. Additionally, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance defended their “NXT” Women’s Tag Team Titles against Alba Fyre and Sol Ruca, with some tension between Fyre and Ruca after their loss. The show ended with a Vengeance Day summit featuring “NXT” Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, Gigi Dolin, and Jayce Jayne, with the latter two members of Toxic Attraction putting the champion through a table to close the program.
