Following the passing of Jay Briscoe, also known as Jamin Pugh, on Tuesday, tributes have been flooding in from the professional wrestling community.
After learning of Jay Briscoe’s passing in a car accident at 38 years old, condolences were shared by Vic Joseph during Tuesday’s NXT broadcast. Tributes were also posted on Twitter by Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

Other wrestling organizations, such as AEW, Pro Wrestling NOAH, Impact, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and Stardom, also paid their respects to Jay Briscoe. The Briscoe brothers, Jay and Mark, had previously held the GHC Jr. Tag Team titles and the Impact and IWGP Tag Team titles.
