Never Say Never on Returning to WWE… Mandy Rose

Published on

Mandy Rose held the prestigious title of WWE NXT Women’s Champion for a remarkable period of over 400 days. Her hard work and dedication during this time cemented her position as the dominant force in the women’s division. However, her success came to a sudden halt as she received notice from WWE that her premium content was not in line with the company’s standards, resulting in her release.

Mandy Rose, also known as “God’s Greatest Creation,” spent much of her tenure with WWE as a mid-card performer on the main roster. Her most notable storyline during this time was in 2020 when she was involved in a romantic angle with her real-life best friend, Sonya Deville, and Otis. Despite some initial interest, this story arc was ultimately abandoned. However, after her return to NXT in 2021, Rose’s fortunes changed dramatically as she quickly established herself as a top-tier talent within the NXT brand.

She made a powerful impact upon her debut in NXT, with a revamped look and dangerous aggression that set her apart from her competition. This fierce determination propelled her to the top of the women’s division, winning the NXT Women’s Championship and defending it for an impressive 413 days.

However, her reign ended in December 2022, as she lost the title and, shortly after, got fired from WWE. The reason for her release was her violation of the company’s code of conduct by posting explicit content, which was in violation of her WWE contract.

For a long time, the circumstances surrounding Mandy Rose’s departure from WWE were shrouded in mystery, with only rumors and speculations circulating about the event. But, in a recent interview with Tamron Hall, Rose herself has come forward to confirm that she had received a warning from the company regarding her private website before her release.

During her interview with Tamron Hall, Hall brought up the reports that WWE had warned Rose to remove the content from her subscription site, and asked her to confirm whether that was true. Mandy Rose responded by saying, “again, there is confidentiality, and I can’t really address that, but there was one warning to take it down, and I complied.”
