The game “Lies of P” has gained popularity on the internet recently. It is a “soulslike” game set in the dark Belle Époque era of the late nineteenth century, and has received positive attention following early demonstrations.
The developer of “Lies of P” has released approximately 40 minutes of gameplay footage on the official YouTube channel, divided into two videos. The first video, which is the majority of the gameplay at 30 minutes, can be seen below.
The video above showcases Chapter 2 “New District” from “Lies of P,” including three “combat memory” options: “balance,” “agility,” and “tenacity.” It also features gameplay that appears to be inspired by “Bloodborne.” The image used for this news story looks similar to a scene from “Bloodborne,” with the exception of the enemy type.
“The second video, which is about 10 minutes long, showcases Chapter 3 “Venigni Factory.” This area includes the same three combat memory options and includes a subtle touch where the game says “Now lying” instead of “Now loading.”
